On the 30th of November 2012, a workshop on the Square Kilometre Array and African-European radio astronomy cooperation took place in Lisbon, Portugal. The workshop brought together scientists, engineers and industry to discuss the SKA and how it can become a precursor to future internet technologies fed with green energies offering a great societal change promise.
Declan Kirrane, Managing Director of ISC and AERAP initiator, contributed to the success of this event with a presentation on ?AERAP at African & European Parliaments?.?
